After a long wait, Airtel has finally made the online base mobile verification live. Now the mobile number can be verified from Aadhaar number from Airtel’s website, though this service is only for Senior Citizens, Non Resident Indians (NRIs) and Divasans. So let’s know its process.
How to Link Aadhaar
First of all, this service is for citizens of more than 70 years of age. For this, customers have to go to https://www.airtel.in/verify-mobile-for-aadhaar-reverification or airtel.in and follow the stated steps. The procedure for Senior Citizens, Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) and Divisions is the same.
After selecting any category from Senior Citizens, Non Resident Indian (NRI) and Divyang, you will be asked a mobile number. After entering the mobile number, an OTP will come on the phone. After this a new page will open and you will be asked for details like name, address. After this you will be asked for proof of proof. Now you have to enter the base number.
Airtel has also given the option that other citizens can also base verification of Senior Citizens, Non Resident Indians (NRIs) and Physically handicap. For this, the above process has to be completed.
All the users of Airtel can verify the basis by calling 14546 or visiting the nearest store. Though Vodafone and Idea have not given this facility online now.
